Chef Adrianne Calvo Selected as USA Delegate for Terra Madre Salone del Gusto 2016

MIAMI, May 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — Miami chef, Adrianne Calvo chosen as USA delegate for Slow Food’s Terra Madre Salone del Gusto 2016 taking place on September 22nd in Turin, Italy.

The Slow Food organization and Salone del Gusto aim to bring awareness on the importance of sustainably and responsibly building food communities. Each year the international event selects a global delegation of culinary experts to participate and share how Slow Food’s values of creating a world in which there is good, clean, and fair food for all are accomplished around the world. Farmers, chefs, and other food experts will prepare a dish presentation to showcase at the summit where attendees will have the opportunity to try the best cuisine from all parts of the world.

This year marks the event’s 20th anniversary which will be celebrated in the City of Turin taking over the most beautiful and prestigious sites in the city.
