Chef Adrianne Calvo unveils her third book #MaximumFlavor Social
With the release of award winning culinary artist, Chef Adrianne Calvo’s third book at the end of this month titled, #MaximumFlavor Social we wanted you to get to know her a little better.
We are excited to announce our Celebrity Chef, Adrianne Calvo. Chef Calvo is a Cuban/American chef, author, television personality, and restaurateur. Calvo is the owner of Chef Adrianne’s Vineyard Restaurant and Wine Bar in Miami, Florida that opened in 2007. In 2002, Calvo enrolled at the culinary school Johnson & Wales University and entered more than forty national competitions, receiving first place in ten of the competitions and runner-up in all the rest. In 2013, Chef Adrianne Calvo won the “Master Holiday Chef Challenge”, Calvo being the youngest of the 14 competitors.
Chef Adrianne Calvo held an interactive book signing event on April 29 for her latest cookbook, #MaximumFlavorSocial, at Books & Books in Coral Gables. Chef Adrianne treated the public to wine and lite bites using recipes from the #MaximumFlavorSocial cookbook.
Award winning Chef Adrianne Calvo is set to release her latest cookbook “Play with Fire” with a special 5 course Pre-Valentine’s Day dinner this coming Thursday February 12, 2015, 7:30PM at Chef Adrianne’s Vineyard Restaurant & Wine Bar.
Writing a book is a strange and exhaustive process. The more I got to thinking about it; it must be even more difficult to write a cookbook- the measurements, the recipes, the clean up. Not saying that it wouldn’t be delicious, though. That’s why I had to meet with Adrianne Calvo, the local beloved chef/owner of Chef Adrianne’s Vineyard Restaurant and Wine Bar who released a cookbook in November 2014.
